Vintage Knits: 1930s Featherdown Suit

Here’s a lightweight sweater and skirt, as well as an overcoat, in case it gets cold. Don’t know if  a skinny little belt around my waist would suit me, but I’d be willing to try, if there was a chance I’d look as together as this woman does.

The pattern is from Minerva pattern book number 47, published in 1937.

The patterns are very compact, using charts instead of written instructions:
