Happy Solstice!

It’s fitting that the longest night of the year is a truly dark one here in the Northwest, with rain coming down in buckets and wind roaring every which way.
Not much chance we’ll see the Christmas star tonight, but the forecast tomorrow is clear and sunny. I think that’s auspicious for the coming year, which as far as I’m concerned begins as soon as the days start getting longer.
