Pizza for Wisconsin Protestors
Have you heard about the pizza orders for the protestors? Ian’s Pizza, a Madison pizza parlor, has been receiving orders from around the world to have pizza delivered to activists rallying in and around the Wisconsin State capital building.
At last count they had received orders from Morocco, France, Antarctica, the Czech Republic, South Korea, Finland, New Zealand, Denmark, Australia, Canada, China, Germany, England, the Netherlands, Turkey, Switzerland, Italy, Russia, Poland, Mexico, Singapore, Costa Rica, Armenia, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, Israel, Hong Kong, Haiti, Iceland, Egypt, Belgium, Argentina, Brazil, Spain, India, Qatar, Taiwan, Afghanistan, Slovenia, Uganda, and all 50 U.S. states.
The shop has had to close to walk-in customers just to handle the overwhelming number of call-ins. They were particularly pleased to get a pizza order from Egypt.
