KOM-Teatteri: Kenen joukoissa seisot?

Here is a 90s remake of a Finnish communist agitprop song from 1971, the year that KOM-Teatteri, Helsinki’s excellent leftist theater group, was founded. The title means “Whose Side Are You On?”. Fans of Aki Kaurismäki’s movies may recognize Kati Outinen singing in the chorus.

Ultra Bra (my favorite Finnish band) modeled their style on the communist songs of the 70s, with their open-throated, unison singing and full orchestration, although the political focus was muted after their first couple of recordings.
