The Dixie Cups: Iko Iko

I used this song in a translation the other day, and it’s been stuck in my head ever since. In a good way.

Wikipedia has several interesting theories of the origins of this song, which is probably a mixture of African and Native American folk songs.

It’s so catchy that it’s no wonder it’s lasted all these years.
