Julia Vuori: Pig and The Capricious Mushroom

I’ve just been translating a sample from Julia Vuori’s picture book, Sika ja oikukas sieni (Pig and the Capricious Mushroom, Otava, 2006). It’s really charming. Here is the cover, and a page from the book, with text translated.

This is one of several books Vuori has written featuring Pig, the star of her popular weekly comic strip. There is also a ballet about Pig.
