The Palouse

Rick and I spent some time driving through the Palouse last week. Here are some photos.

Here in Seattle the landscape is always dark green, and the sky is usually a uniform blanket of gray peeping between tall trees, buildings, and mountains. In Eastern Washington, the landscape is multicolored, and the sky is a vast empty space often filled with clouds of every shape and color drifting over low, rolling hills.
